Duties and Responsibilities

- Represents the university and programs to prospective students, community college and other appropriate organizations.
- Attend college nights, college fairs, school and community organization visits and other related recruitment events.
- Manages assigned recruitment territory.
- Assist in developing appropriate partnerships which help develop feeder schools and organizations.
- Advise prospective students on admission criteria, financial aid process, transfer credit, credit for prior learning and other critical decision factors for transfer students.
- Participate in on and off campus recruitment activities which will include evening and weekend hours.
- Make timely admission and scholarship decisions on applicants to Loyola.
- Lead special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Performs related duties as required.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of three to five years of related admissions experience is required.

Qualifications

Experience in recruitment, admission or student advising is required.
Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication and presentation schools.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Ability to work with and recruit a diverse population.
Ability to articulate the values and mission of a Jesuit institution.

Certificates/Credentials/Licenses

a valid driver’s license for off campus recruitment events.

Computer Skills

Proficient with the MS suite of products.
