Duties and Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director of Enrollment Systems Research and Reporting, analyst’s primary role will be to support the Office of Undergraduate Admissions student search initiatives. Search activities include:

• Manage data imports from ACT, College Board, NRCCUA, and other list vendors and ensure accurate records based on purchase criteria
• Cleanse and prepare data file for print vendor
• Create weekly and monthly reports within Slate using Slate’s reporting tools
• Assist in analysis of search responders to help shape future search purchases
• Assist with initial set up of campaigns
• Set up, maintain and monitor rules in Slate that move responders to inquiry stage
• Liaison with Enrollment Ops to ensure fulfillment pieces are properly coordinated with Slate Search
• Liaison with Admission, Enrollment Marketing and University Marketing on student search landing page.
• Support LUC’s ‘Quick App’, the expedited version of the Undergrad application including assisting with the student portal of ‘quick app’ students.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

• Primary liaison for the technical and operational support aspects of Admissions activities using enrollment CRM system. Provides support for systems and applications that provide processing and reporting in support of Admissions offices in coordination with university Information Technology Services.
• Work with end users to identify business needs and to plan and design enhanced functionality of existing applications in use by Admissions areas. Creates automated jobs for importing and exporting data, creating CRM functions, forms, automated communications, and reports; monitors job status and results; corrects data for errant jobs; advises on improving programs and processes to enhance the admissions process.
• Review data for accuracy; work with Undergraduate Admissions Office, CRM vendor, and other university stakeholders to verify data completeness and accuracy and to provide reporting of admissions data. Develop queries and other information to assist end users in maintaining data integrity and for performing data audits.
• Assist with the development and management of other databases, websites, communications plans or ancillary systems in use by Enrollment Management and other university departments.
• Assist with other data and information management projects as needed.
• Work with external vendors to ensure vendor activities and requests are understood and completed in a timely manner.
• Act as backup to ESRR Business Analyst staff supporting advanced CRM functionality including creation of Slate portals, forms, and analytics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two-four years of related experience preferably in a university setting are required.


Ability to work independently while fostering a culture of collaboration.



Computer Skills

Advanced MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint is required.

Adept use of Internet, e-mail and other office automation systems is required.

Understanding of relational databases and experience in one of the following database programs is desired: Oracle, SQL Server, Access, MySQL, or Ingress/Postgress SQL.

Familiarity with Technolutions Slate is desired.

Familiarity admission/enrollment CRM systems or business CRM and document management systems is desired.

Basic understanding of computer programming utilizing one of the following is desired: SPSS, VBScript, Java, JavaScript, SQL, ColdFusion, ASPX, C#, VB, PHP.
