Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for assistance in a community research project to include, but not limited, to:
-Complete Human Subjects Training for the conduct of research. (Collaborative IRB Training Initiative (CITI)).
-Complete culturally informed community assessment and care network study training
-Work closely with the Principle Investigator and Project Director in data collection to include:
a. Inform community participants regarding study eligibility
b. Assist in collecting community information on healthy aging and elder care
c. Maintain confidentiality
d. Perform data entry
e. Prepare, organize and update relevant study materials and data records
f. Attend research team meetings

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree in related field and zero-one year of related experience.

Qualifications

Preferred: Familiar with the Edgewater community. Experience in working with and/or caring for older persons. Bi or multilingual in Spanish, Hindi and/or Eastern European languages.

Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent training experience or education, preferred.

Certificates/Credentials/Licenses

Preferred: Familiar with the Edgewater community. Experience in working with and/or caring for older persons. Bi or multilingual in Spanish, Hindi and/or Eastern European languages.
